I'm Sergio. My eldest daughter stepped onto the ice for the first time at three and a half. Her little sister - two and a half, and not about to be left out - followed not long after. That's just how it goes with a competitive second child.

They're ten and eight now, both still at it, both genuinely loving it. I've spent years watching them choose their songs, practise to them until they know every beat, and skate to them in front of judges with a focus that still surprises me. Competition season in our house means excitement, not nerves - new music, new costumes, new goals.

Somewhere along the way I started paying closer attention to what I already notice professionally. A track that sounds thin through a rink PA. A cut that lands a beat too early. Music that fights the choreography instead of supporting it. I've watched what a well-edited piece of music does to a routine - and what a careless one does to a child's confidence on the day.

I've spent years producing and releasing my own music, so the technical side came naturally. Artisound started as a way to put that background to work somewhere it actually matters to me.

I work directly with coaches and skaters across New Zealand. One person, direct communication, no guesswork.

Logic Pro session showing multi-stem editing and EQ work

How I work

Precision

Every edit is timed to the beat — competition-length cuts, exact intros, and clean endings that hold up under pressure.

Rink-Ready Sound

Tracks are mastered for rink playback — not just loud, but balanced and clear on the systems coaches and judges actually hear.

Calm Process

Skating schedules are demanding enough. I keep communication clear, turnaround predictable, and revisions straightforward.
